First Flamenco Dance Class Free in 2010!

Want to try a flamenco dance class? Join one of our fun and friendly classes. No experience at all required.
Flamenco dance classes at Casa de Flamenco are currently suited to adults or children over the age of 12. We offer classes for complete beginners to professional level. Each class includes a warm up, various technique exercises and choreography.

There are performance opportunities for Casa de Flamenco students as they feel ready in a supportive and encouraging environment to assist in the development of confidence and performance skills.

Shoes with a sturdy heel (boots or court shoes are fine for beginners)
Comfortable pants &/or a full skirt

:: Beginners ::

Our beginners class is for those that have always wanted to try flamenco but have never had the opportunity. No prior dance training is required. Beginner classes introduce the technique, style and basic rhythms and steps of flamenco.

:: Elementary/Intermediate ::

For those with at least one year flamenco dance experience. This class builds on technique, further develops style and involves a variety of choreographies.

:: Advanced ::

Advanced flamenco classes are aimed at those with at least 4 years flamenco dance experience. Complex rhythms and challenging techniques and choreographies will take your dancing to the next level.

Wednesday evenings with Kristy

6:00 - 7:00pm	Elementary/Intermediate Flamenco
7:00 - 7:30pm	Yogalates
7:30-8:30pm	Beginners Flamenco

Saturdays with Kristy

11:00am - 12noon	Beginners Flamenco
12:00 - 12:30pm	Yogalates
12:30-1:30pm	Elementary/Intermediate Flamenco

* Enrol in Flamenco Dance and Spanish Language for the term and receive a 10% discount off the total term fee! *

Casual Attendance

1 hour class - Flamenco dance	$15
1 1/2hours - Flamenco dance & Yogalates	$20

Term Fees (10 week term)

1 hour per week	$120
1.5 hours per week	$150
2 hours per week	$180
2.5 hours per week	$220
3 or more hours per week	$250

Private classes (can be shared between 2 people)

1 hour	$40
Half hour	$25

:: Conditions ::

Term fees are payable within the first 2 weeks of term, after this casual fees will apply.
No credit or refund for missed classes, unless classes are cancelled. Classes may be made up by attending other classes within the same term.

:: Flamenco Dance Workshop with Sebastian Sanchez ::

We are privileged to have dancer Sebastian Sanchez (Jerez/Brisbane) teach flamenco dance workshops.

Sebastian will teach two levels of workshops:
Intermediate (Bulerias de Jerez) and
Advanced (Tientos/Tangos).
