Flamenco dance classes at Casa de Flamenco are currently suited to adults or children over the age of 12. We offer classes for complete beginners to professional level. Each class includes a warm up, various technique exercises and choreography.
At Casa de Flamenco we offer students performance opportunities as they feel ready in a supportive and encouraging environment to assist in the development of confidence and performance skills.

21, 22 & 23 January 2011Level 1 - Buleria de Jerez (Elementary/Intermediate)
In this workshop you will not only learn new fresh Buleria you will also gain an understanding of the structure, palmas beat and accompaniment of the music and dance through the rhythm. And most importantly the feeling, the "sentido" and how to dance the Buleria de Jerez will be evidenced through Sebastian's years of experience in Jerez and Jerezano family roots.
Level 2 – Romance/Jaleo (Advanced)
Romance, one of the oldest palos in flamenco originating from Jaen, with the letras sung "corrido" (without pauses). Similar to a Solea por Bulerias, with an "abandalao" style tempo, that can be applied to Jaleo, Rondeña, Fandango, Malagueñas, etc.
